Knoxville area has 12th highest home vacancy rate among U.S. metro areas

The number of vacant homes in the Knoxville area was nearly 9,800 in the third quarter of 2018, a 627-unit increase over what it was a year ago, according to new real estate numbers reported by ATTOM Data Solutions.
