The Farhang & Medcoff Law Firm has added a bankruptcy practice to its legal services through its merger with the law firm of Smith & Smith.
“Adding a bankruptcy group makes us an even more complete law firm for businesses of every size,” co-founding partner at Farhang & Medcoff Ali Farhang said in a press release. “We pride ourselves on building strong business relationships with our clients, and we want to be there for everything they need.”
Three attorneys from Smith & Smith who will be joining Farhang & Medcoff.
“We are ecstatic to be adding attorneys of this caliber to our firm, and to be able to provide another important service to our clients,” co-founding partner Timothy Medcoff said in the statement. “We know these attorneys will have the same commitment to service excellence our clients expect when they hire Farhang & Medcoff.”
John Smith, a U.S. Air Force veteran who founded Smith & Smith, will become a partner at Farhang & Medcoff. Smith founded the firm with his father, Gerald Smith, who will be retiring after 50 years of legal practice.
In addition, Smith & Smith attorneys Cody Vandewerker and Eli Enger will join Farhang & Medcoff as associates.
Farhang & Medcoff, which was founded in 2008, was recently named to U.S. News and World Report's Best Law Firms List for 2018.
