Graduates earn 19 degrees from American Baptist College


About 73.7 percent of the 19 degrees and certificates handed out by the American Baptist College in 2016-17 were to students in Theology and Religious Vocations programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Nashville conferred 14 bachelor's degrees in Theology and Religious Vocations programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Theology and Religious Vocations, Other. Data shows the school gave out 14 bachelor's degrees in Theology and Religious Vocations, Other, followed by 4 associate's degrees in General Studies and 1 bachelor's degrees in Human Services, General.

The college enrolled 139 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
