8.4 percent of Lincoln Memorial University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 8.4 percentage of Lincoln Memorial University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Lincoln Memorial University has 1,919 undergraduate students, of which 70 percent are women and 30 percent are men, and a total student body of 4,770 students. Of these students, 218 men and 184 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Lincoln Memorial University with the most participants are lacrosse (62), soccer (61) and baseball (42).
