About 42 percent of the 131 degrees and certificates handed out by the University of Phoenix-Tennessee in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.
The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private for-profit institution in Nashville conferred 53 bachelor's degrees and 2 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.
But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 40 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 22 bachelor's degrees in hospital and health care facilities administration/management and 20 bachelor's degrees in criminal justice/law enforcement administration.
The university enrolled 204 students for 2017-18, including 201 in undergraduate programs and 3 in graduate programs.
