Census Bureau: More women than men in Coalfield in 2017


Of the 2,567 people living in Coalfield in 2017, 53.3 percent (1,369) were women and 46.7 percent (1,198) were men, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained by the Tennessee Business Daily.

Females 18 and over outnumbered males in the same age group by a ratio of 752-to-708. In the 65 years and over age range, there were 285 females and 207 males.
