OAK RIDGE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation accepting grants-Fighting childhood hunger


Oak Ridge Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Nov. 20.

Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation is currently accepting grant application requests for organizations that focus on fighting childhood hunger until January 15, 2020.

Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation was established by Y-12 Federal Credit Union, a

full-service financial provider headquartered in Oak Ridge, TN. The Foundation was launched July 17, 2017 and has provided over $100,000 in grants to non-profit organizations in the service area which includes, Anderson, Blount, Campbell, Knox, Loudon, Roane, Sevier and Union County.

Effective with the 2020 grant cycle the focus of the Y-12 FCU Gives Foundation will be, fighting childhood hunger. The purpose of the foundation is to reduce the number of undernourished children in the communities we serve by providing them food, knowledge and resources.
