Indiana ranks 39th in the U.S. for the most occupation and business license, nec paid in 2022

In 2022, Indiana collected $62,918,000 in occupation and business license, nec, ranking it 39th in the United States, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).

Indiana collected $1.7 billion in motor fuels sales tax in 2022

Of the $29.3 billion in taxes collected by Indiana in 2022, 5.7 percent, or $1.7 billion, came from motor fuels sales tax, according to the U.S. Census Bureau’s Annual Survey of State Government Tax Collections (STC).

Indiana collected 11.1% more in individual income taxes in 2022
